Sept. 11: Electric Car Rides at Green Expo

Come and learn about electric vehicles (EVs), home charging, solar roofs, renewable energy, and more from friendly owners and suppliers.
Take a ride in or perhaps drive an electric car and experience the EV acceleration smile.
Join Drive Electric Dayton members at the first Green Expo and Car Show from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the former Sears store location at 5000 Salem Ave, in Trotwood.
What You Can See and Do
Our volunteer members plan to display and talk about their electric cars, including a Ford Mustang Mach E, Tesla Models 3, S and Y and Volkswagen ID.4.
In addition, Evans Volkswagen in Dayton and Volkswagen of North America will bring electric cars and have EV specialists on hand to answer your questions.
Test drives and/or rides in electric cars will be available from 1 to 3 p.m.
COVID protocols will be followed.
In addition, various community groups and food trucks will participate, along with a display of classic, pre-1985 cars. The full expo runs from noon to 5 p.m.
All Drive Electric Dayton members are invited to participate.
If you own an electric car and want to display it, or offer rides/test drives, we still have room, especially for owners Chevy, BMW, Ford, Nissan, Hyundai and Kia battery-electric vehicles or plug-in battery-hybrid vehicles.
Register your EV, or sign up to help set up, welcome visitors at our tent, or pack up here.
