At the Fairborn EV Charging station ribbon cutting on Dec 15th at the Valle Green Shopping Center / near Kroger’s, three DED members attended (one driving an IONIQ EV). Also in attendance were Fairborn City Council members, the Fairborn Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of Fairborn, the Fairborn City Engineer, and Fairborn City staff as well as a few citizens. DED’s Rap Hankins explained to the elected officials and those in attendance that Drive Electric Dayton was there to support them in their efforts to build the EV infrastructure in their city.
Along with this EV charging station (1161 E Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd), the City of Fairborn is also installing a Level 2 station at their library.
There were four EV’s in attendance: VW ID4, Nissan Leaf, IONIQ, and Tesla.
